- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
It's like that old joke: "What happens when a dreamer, an engineer and a professor try to talk to their phone? The dreamer said, 'Dude, let's make a company.' The engineer said, 'Let's make the server in python and the front end in Android'. And the professor was just miffed that it didn't understand his shayarian."
Together they started Slang Labs.
Today the team is 13 strong, made up of engineers, designers and mostly factotums.
We work out of 91 Springboard in Bangalore, sometimes in Indira Nagar and sometimes in JP Nagar, and are many times found at Toit, grabbing beer.
We like talking to fellow dreamers, those who dream about voice based systems and those who don't. Come by, or call if you want to grab a cup of coffee. Anytime.
These fellow-believers in voice based technologies are working on cool projects that use and augment Slang in awesome ways. They are the yin to our yang. Plus, their office is a stone's throw away from ours. And, yes, we believe in throwing stones!
You'll understand if we don't have any jokes in this section, right?
